The Saint Lucia Solid Waste Management Authority provides a garbage collection service to residents throughout the island. This takes the form of a regular collection service and a monthly bulky waste collection service. By using them correctly, residents can keep their communities clean. Each week on the waste collection days for your community, place your garbage bin and/or tied plastic bags near the roadside before 7:00 a.m. Yard clippings/green waste must be bagged or bundled to facilitate effective collection. On your monthly bulky waste collection day for your community, place bulky items near the roadside where you usually place your regular waste.
The waste collection service is undertaken by private waste collection contractors operating in the following districts: Gros Islet , Castries , Anse La Raye, Canaries , Soufriere* , Choiseul* , Laborie* , Vieux Fort , Micoud*, Dennery *, Praslin and Dauphin . Please select the community nearest you to get more information about your waste collection schedule for the community.
